Festival of the Little Hills Outing
We will be visiting the festival for our August group training outing. This event is located on Old Main Street in St Charles.
Parking and Shuttle Bus
Parking is always a challenge, and you will need to arrive early and be at the meeting point on time. There are free shuttle buses starting at 9am. There is also a handicapped shuttle bus available at one location.
We will be meeting near the corner of Boone’s Lick Raod and South Riverside Drive.
We will be walking around old main street St. Charles. This outing will include uneven terrain including uphill, downhill, sidewalks, gravel, rock, grass,cobblestone, black top and brick. Please wear comfortable shoes.
The festival will be crowded, and pet dogs are allowed. There will be food and merchandise vendors lining the streets and parks. Live music and performers will be present.
(only service dogs are permitted in Frontier Park, east of the railroad tracks and Katy Trail.)
You will need to bring your training bag. Water bottles and bowls will be required. Depending on weather and the heat you may want to bring your hot weather items (shoes, cooling vests, etc)
